March 30, 2009The American Beauty Show  After being at the show for about three hours I was pooped so I met up with some friends and we went to lunch in the suburbs of Chicago in my old hometown of Wilmette. We ate at the "Original Pancake House" and I got the most amazing pancakes ever with hash browns . Whats everyone's favorite breakfast food? What did you all do this weekend? Gimme the skinny!

March 25, 2009Lots of Awesome Concerts in AprilApril is a great time for concerts. It seems like everyone is playing near me soon. I will be seeing We The kings, The Maine, 3OH!3, Veil of Maya, The Killers and many more in April. CAN WE SAY DANCE PARTY! I will have lots of videos from those shows coming soon! March 23, 2009Chiodos and Sliverstein Photo shoot in my barn
So recently I was taking a look through Alternative Press Magazine and I noticed that Silverstein used a photo that Adam Elmakias took of them in my barn last fall. Chiodo's had pictures taken in my barn as well that day. That ended up being a really fun night.
My friend Alyssa and I ended up going to the show and had a dance party with Chiodos in their bus. Good Times I wanted to post the pictures up so you could see them.   Copyright Adam Elmakias 2008.

Twilight Weekend!
So this weekend was pretty fun. I spent Friday night in Cincinnati Ohio with some friends and came home Saturday to pick up my Twilight DVD. I ended up going over to a party on Saturday but was way too tired to stay out late. LAME! What am I an old lady? haha
I came home and laid on my couch with my puppy Brenna and spent the remainder of the evening with Edward Cullen. It was a pretty hot date. Il have pictures up soon of me with my best friend Alyssa at the party on Saturday so stay tuned!

High Waisted Pants and Oversized Hot Tubs
So I spent last night in Detroit, and hung out with some friends. My hotel room had a giant hot tub right in the middle of it, it was pretty nifty. I spent last night hanging out in it and watched the Tyra show hahaha. Im flying out to Cleveland today which should be fun.

How is everyone doing tonight? I spent my Saturday flying back from Portland Maine which was kind of exhausting. When I got home I went over to Borders and pre-ordered TWILIGHT. I am pretty pumped to get that!

Prom Makeup Help
I recently received this email on DarlaMakeup.com
Dear ScarletMadeline, I bought a lime green dress for prom and I want to wear intense makeup with it. Would it be okay to wear lime green eyeshadow? or should I change it up? Sincerely, Lime Green Promster Answer: Dear "Lime Green Promster," I would suggest unless you want to be confused with an apple that you switch it up a bit but keep the makeup intense too! For a lime dress I would suggest a classic smokey eye with our aqua paint mixed with sealant as a liner on your top lid. Make sure to add false lashes and black liner!

Dear ScarletMadeline, I am always depressed when I come home from being out all night with friends because my makeup never looks the same as it did when I left the house. How can I keep my eye makeup all night? Sincerly, MY MAKEUP KEEPS GOING AWAY ScarletMadeline's Answer: Dear "My Makeup Keeps Going Away", I also use to have this problem and could never find products that would stay on all day/ night. This is one of the reasons why I started Darla Makeup. I have a few products that I suggest you use to keep your makeup vibrant and beautiful all day/ night. Before applying any other makeup on to your face I suggest you use Darla Makeup's creaseless shadow base all over your eyelids all the way up to your eyebrows. After application put your normal foundation all over your face and top with powder all over your face and eyelids. This forms a base on your eyelids that will keep your eye makeup long lasting. After this you can apply your eye makeup normally.  If you want to make your eyeshadows more vibrant and like a paint I suggest you try Darla Makeup's Paint Sealant. This product makes your eyeshadows sweat and water resistant. If you mix a couple drops of the sealant with any of Darla's eyeshadows it will turn them into an intense paint that will instantly dry on your eyelid and keep it there all day!  As far as finishing off your look use Darla Makeups Indelible waterproof Eyeliner and it wont budge!
