ScarletMadeline's Makeup Mastermind Looks at The Perfect New Years Makeup
Its the end of a decade, so I am pretty sure we all need to party it up in style!
New Years outfits come in all different looks and styles and so should your makeup. If you are planning on wearing a neutral color outfit, I think you should play up your makeup. If you are wearing a bright colored outfit then you should tone down the makeup and make your clothing the focal point.
Here is some makeup ideas for different style outfits:

I love this style dress, I have worn similar Betsey Johnson dresses in Darla Photo shoots before.

I played mine up with a cheetah print bra and red pumps sort of a pin up twist. Copyright DarlaMakeup 2009.
For a dress like this I would start out with a basic smokey eye look and top with a sparkle.

JLo rocked this look and you can too!
-Apply a shadow base all of your eye and top it w. the same powder you apply all over your face
-Apply a matte taupe eyeshadow all over your eye from your brown down to your lash line
-Apply a matte gray eyeshadow w. blue undertones from just above your crease down to your lash line. Blend it w. the taupe
-Apply a black pencil liner to your top and bottom lash lines
-Top of your eyeshadow w. a very fine loose silver sparkle
-Finish off the eyes w. black mascara or false lashes
-Pair w. some clear pink gloss

For sparkled outfits, I would pair them up with very light and natural makeup paired with a red lipstick.

Scarlett Johanson is a babe and wore this look perfectly and heres how you can too:
-Apply a matte taupe eyeshadow from your lash line up to your brows
-Apply a matte very light brown eyeshadow from your lash line up to your crease, blend with the taupe. Put the same color under your eye as a blended eyeliner
-Apply a liquid liner to your top lash line
-Finish off the eyes w. mascara or false lashes
-Apply a red or pink lipstick and you are ready to go!

For brightly colored outfits I would definitely down play the makeup with a natural colored smokey eye.

Carrie Underwood always looks glamorous when she goes out. This isnt a full blown smokey eye but heres how you can get the look:
-Apply a matte white eyeshadow with light pink undertones from your brow down to you lash line
-Apply a matte light brown eyeshadow with pink undertones from just above your crease down to your lash line. Blend w. the light tone
-Apply a matte darker brown from your lash line to just below your crease and blend it well. Apply that same color under your eye as a blended eyeliner.
-Apply mascara or false lashes
-Finish off with a matte rose colored blush and pink clear lipgloss.
