ScarletMadeline's Makeup Mastermind Remembers The Makeup Looks Of Brittany Murphy
By now everyone knows the sad fact that Brittany Murphy passed away yesterday of cardiac arrest. One of my favorite movies ever, the movie that got me into fashion was one of her first movies, CLUELESS. In honor of Murphys life, I wanna chat about some some of her looks that I thought were classic.
How can any of us forget her awesome transformation from nerd to fashionista in the hilarious movie CLUELESS

None of the charectors makeup was too extreme in this movie but they definitely nailed the 90's "natural" look.

If you are looking to get this look, remember the matte red lipstick!
Durring the 90's girls paired very plain matte eyeshadows (usually browns) with matte red and brown lipsticks. If you are looking to get a look similar to this but more modern check out more recent and pretty pictures of Murphy on the red carpet.

After looking back through some old photos, it seemed to me that Brittany really loved the old hollywood look. This is just another example of a modern twist of vintage glamour. Instead of lipstick, Murphy wore lots of gloss which I love

This is definitely an old hollywood glamour look, that looks fabulous!
To get this look:
-Apply a matte taupe eyeshadow all over your eye from your eyebrow down to your lash line
-Apply a light matte brown eyeshadow from the crease of your eye down to your lash line and blend with the taupe eyeshadow.
-Apply a black liquid liner in a thin line to your top lash line and pair with black mascara
-Apply a small amount of black pencil liner to your bottom lash line
-Finish off with some fabulous red lipstick

Very light shimmery pink mineral dust can be the perfect highlighter for eyes and cheeks
To get this really adorable look:
-Apply a shimmery white eyeshadow from your brown down to your lash line
-Apply a shimmery pink mineral dust from just above your crease down to your lash line and blend with the white
