For this week of ScarletMadeline's Makeup Mastermind, I am going to talk some more about Halloween. Learn all about the makeup tips one needs to know, to get the Alice and Edward Cullen looks. We all know that the Cullen family is no ordinary vampire family. They don't look like your traditional vampire brood. They are pretty plain with their makeup and dress in trendy clothing.

Alice Cullen

To pull of the Alice Cullen do the following:
- Apply a light colored shadow base all over your eyelid all the way up to your brow. I would also apply the shadow base under your eye to prevent you from having any dark circles around your eyes.
- Apply a very white (at least 2 shades lighter then your true skin tone) mineral makeup powder all over your face, including over your eyes that have the shadow base on them. This powder will help set your shadow base. I like pressed mineral makeup rather then loose, but it is your preference.
- Of course, FILL IN THOSE BROWS!
- For the eyes, start out applying a very pale matte taupe color all over your eye from your lash line up to your brows. I would also apply that same color under your eyes to create the look of having very subtle circles (helps create depth).
- Next apply a mid tone matte brown eyeshadow from the crease of your eyelid down to your lash line. This helps create some depth as well, which still looking subtle and natural. Apply that same color under your eye
- I would then apply a brown liquid liner on your lash line. Make sure you dont do any sort of cat eye, Alice's liquid liner is very hidden and subtle. This is just to make her eyes look darker. Apply a brown pencil liner under your eye in a VERY thin line, just like Alice's.
- To finish off the look I would apply brown mascara on top and bottom and apply a light pink gloss to your lips. Chap stick would work fine too.
There you have it! As beautiful as Alice Cullen :)

Edward Cullen


For all you boys out there who want to be Edward Cullen for Halloween break out that eyeshadow, because you will be wearing a lot of it! Now of course we all know this photo has been photo shopped to death but to get the basic albino vampire look do the following steps:
- Apply a very light colored shadow base from your lash line up to your brows. Also, apply the shadow base under your eye to prevent dark circles. His under eyes are as smooth as a babies bottom. If you want to pull of this look so should yours!
-Apply a VERY white (probably the lightest shade available, unless you want to be beach bunny Edward Cullen) mineral powder all over your face. Apply it all over your shadow base as well to help set it.
-Next don't forget to fill in those fabulous brows gentlemen! The darkness of Edward's brows helps make him look ghostly white (I might be just as pale then Edward Cullen without the makeup!)
- For the eyes start out using a very light matte taupe color all over your eye from your lash line to your brow. Apply a very thin line of this color under your eye also.
- From the crease of your lid down to your lash line apply a dark brown matte color. Edward sort of has a fabulous cat eye look going on. Make sure to pull the dark brown color out a bit and then blend it with the taupe base color as well as your white face powder. Apply a very thin layer of the dark brown under your eye as a liner and blend it with the taupe.
- I would suggest wearing a brown mascara on top and bottom for this look as well, but JUST A LITTLE!
- To finish off the look I would put some chap stick on, so your lips dont get chapped while your trick or treating!
- Now, if you want to pull off Edward's sparkly look apply a shimmer powder to your face and neck. Darla Makeup shimmer powders are perfect for creating either a very subtle shimmer or a very sparkled Edward look.
