ScarletMadeline's Makeup Mastermind Looks At Guys In Guyliner: Trace Cyrus, Bill Kaulitz And Gerard Way
We judge people on the arrangements of their features and their style. Care to tell me that you don't? Well, I would say that you might not judge your friends on their beauty, but you certainly pick up a magazine cover or check out a musician on stage and say "damn that girl looks awful in that outfit" or "wow what was she thinking wearing that much eyeshadow". This round of ScarletMadeline's Makeup Mastermind I will be looking at guys that rock guyliner. Everyone knows that men with makeup are a staple in the music industry. From KISS to the late Michael Jackson to Panic At The Disco ... everyone is rockin' the guyliner.
Davey Havok from AFI:
I think Davey might have taken this look a little too far but, he definitely stands out. I do like his look (on a girl) it is very well done. If you are looking to get this look get out your sparkles and false lashes! First make sure you wear a nice pale foundation, powder and fill in those brows! Take a white sparkled shadow and put it all over your lid up to your brows. Take a nice blue color (make sure its bright) and blend it all over your lid
past your crease. I suggest using loose shimmer eye pigment, solid shadows wont have the same intensity that Davey would want you to have! Add a thick line of black liquid liner to your lash line. Use the same white shadow and mix it with Paint Sealant (DarlaMakeup.com) and add a white sparkled line above the black liquid liner. Finish the look off with an eyelash pencil on top and bottom and some long false lashes!
Trace Cyrus:
Everyone who knows me knows I love me some Metro Station, so of course I love Trace. This an older picture of Trace but he is definitely wearing GUYLINER! I prefer him without eyeliner but it does make his blue eyes pop. These days I think he has replaced his love for makeup with tattoos. What a babe :)
Gerard Way:
Gerard Way is the only guy I can think of that really can pull off the makeup thing. He did a very good job blending his brown eyeshadows (on top and bottom) so it just looks like he has dark eye sockets. He finished off the look with some black eyeliner on the insides of his eyes. This is how you wear guyliner!
Bill Kaulitz:
I can not figure this one out at all. Tokio Hotel's Bill Kaulitz is pushing this look WAY too far. Not only is the makeup bad but so is his hair.. YIKES! Sorry Bill, it's nothing personal.
Brendon Urie:
Like my love for Metro Station, I loved PATD's old look. I think the circus-esk look was creative and entertaining. Brendon Urie from Panic! At The Disco is a hottie even with a full face of makeup. Not only is he wearing eye makeup in this shot but he also has blush and lipstick on AND IM OKAY WITH THAT!
Pete Wentz:
Last but not least of course I had to talk about the king of Guyliner, Pete from Fall Out Boy. Now I have said before that I like him better without eyeliner but I do understand that this is his thing. Of course we can thank Pete for making eyeliner extremely popular in main stream teens and music lovers.

2. Trace Cyrus scares the living crap outta me and I dont think he looks good at all. (Sorry)
3. Gerard Way is perfect and can not do any wrong. He is the best out of all these guyliner-wearing guys.
4. Tokio Hotel needs to go back to where ever they came from...like Mars.
5. Brendon Urie is amazing. His features look good with or without makeup.
6. Pete Wentz is kind of the music industry god, so you cant really touch him. His fans love him.
And one last thing, I love guys who will wear makeup because it shows that they dont care what other people think and they are not afraid to express themselves. :D

except i gotta add one thing about pete wentz...
he looks kind of, well, ...bad (please dont kill me!!!) with way too much guyliner, like in this picture-

I used to have a fangirl crush on Bill...then I realized how much I hated myself and cam back to reality. I like his hair down, and makeup to the minimum.
Brendon is my little older brother that I never had, and I love him no matter what. I prefer that era as well.
Pete Wentz...I won't say anything about him out loud. I don't want any thirteen year old girls to hear me and bust down my door. He looks um../original/.
